Best used when:

- The bearing pocket is not exactly squared, or the sides of the wheel web that the bearings press against are not exactly parallel. 
- The plastic chrome or other surface materials do not allow for a perfectly square corner to the wheel hub, causing misalignment of the bearings and not allowing the wheel to roll freely.

There are large pass-throughs at each end of the tool in case there is a need to insert a breaker bar or screwdriver to allow more torque. 

There are also parallel flats on the non-cutting end of the tool to allow placement in a vise, which will allow more torque on the cutting end of the precision tool.
